Drew Thorn is the author of The Pinnacle Club and The Oligarch and is now writing the third book in the Sandy Powell series. Drew has been writing professionally for about 40 years. Early writing focused primarily on marketing materials and later technical documents including leading the MasterCard team which together with Visa and Europay developed the technical specifications for the chip in your debit and credit card.
Drew grew up on a dairy farm in upstate New York near Vermont and graduated from Cornell University. He has worked on six continents and has logged over one million actual miles on United Airlines alone. He has lived in multiple cities including, Manhattan, Chicago, Palo Alto, and Sydney Australia. He has been in 49 of the 50 states, Alaska is still on the bucket list.
Beyond his passion to write. Drew enjoys gardening, cows, woodworking and used to love travel – today it is just hard. He is very proud of his family. Judy is a college professor, son John a commercial truck driver and daughter Lizzy is a Captain in the Army currently stationed in Vicenza, Italy. All doing incredible things.
Today he lives happily with his family in the Ozarks of Missouri. He enjoys the freedom of writing fiction because it can be whatever you imagine.
